Susan Boyle may seem a sure bet to scoop the Britain’s Got Talent title, but a 10-year-old budding ballerina is tipped to be the only contestant who can stand in her way.
Hollie Steel caught everyone by surprise. Watch this video:
(Look out for an unimpressed Simon is just about to hit his buzzer when Hollie starts singing – and his jaw drops to the desk.)
At the end of her performance, Piers Morgan, another judge, tells her: “We have seen a lot of children on our show over the last three series and I have never heard any of them sing as well as you do.”
Will she win the Britain’s Got Talent 2009 and beat the Overnight sensation – Susan Boyle? I definitely look forward to the showdown.
The Walt Disney Studios will celebrate Earth Day 2009 (April 22nd) with the debut of “Earth,” the first feature-length nature documentary from its new production banner, Disneynature. This amazing new film is from award-winning British producer/director Alastair Fothergill, whose credits include the Emmy and Peabody award-winning “Planet Earth” series (BBC and The Discovery Channel) and “The Blue Planet.”
This film in the Disneynature series, Earth, narrated by JAMES EARL JONES, tells the remarkable story of three animal families of Elephants, Whales and Polar Bears and their amazing journey across the planet we all call home. Earth combines rare action, unimaginable scale and impossible locations by capturing the most intimate moments of our planets wildest and most elusive creatures.
This is new concept to me – Lawn Greetings. Look at the picture below:
What is Lawn Greeting?
It is actually a way of surprising your loved one’s yard with greeting displyas consists of several “critters” such as flamingos, cows, dinosaurs, and other items which are placed in a yard along with a message board that is personalized with a special message for the recipient.
Y will see Shaheen begin to sing “Valerie,” an Amy Winehouse song, only to be halted by Mr. Cowell’s right hand.
“You’ve got it all wrong,” declares a deadpan Mr. Cowell. The audience gasps. The audience is about to weep. So is Shaheen’s Mom. The world does not have enough buckets to collect their tears, nor enough tissues to wipe them away.
But wait.
Neatly, and remarkably conveniently, Mr. Cowell asks Shaheen if he sings something else. Shaheen, just as neatly and conveniently, has some music prepared from another song, Michael Jackson’s sweet, innocent ditty, “Who’s Loving You?”
Now, we have a real talent competition – Shaheen vs Susan Boyle
